We stand for snow sports instruction at the highest level. For constant quality and professionalism on the slopes, we rely on the latest training standards.
The Swiss Ski and Snowboard School Hoch-Ybrig is the second largest ski school in Central Switzerland. Founded in 1932, the school has steadily grown and professionalised since then. Today, with Fränzi Taugwalder, Alexander Taugwalder, Hannes Hubli and Karin Hubli, the management is made up of snow sports instructors with years of experience on the snow and currently the highest qualification in this profession: federally certified snow sports instructor.
In short: the management of the Swiss Ski and Snowboard School is a power package of well-founded expertise, years of experience and infectious joy for winter sports!
On the pulse of the latest trends
Our up to 80 snow sports instructors are our most important resource and their training and further education is accordingly one of our top priorities. Hannes Hubli, Alexander Taugwalder, Dario Peruzzo, Jan Graf, Roman Sifrig and Tjeerd Menalda are primarily responsible for this. Their task is to provide the most modern and best possible training of our instructors.
They are all experts, which means they regularly train instructors in basic and advanced courses for Swiss Snowsports, the umbrella organisation of Swiss Ski Schools and instructors. Alexander is also on the board of Swiss Snowsports and a former member of the Swiss Snow Demo Team of Swiss Snowsports. As a result, we as a ski school benefit from a direct transfer of knowledge and are always up to date. We pass this know-how on to our snow sports instructors in internal training and further education courses.
Our guests benefit directly from this through professional instruction!
